Best Historic Restaurants in Greendale

This has become my second favorite restaurant in the Third Ward. The service is outstanding at the bar and while eating and the noise level make it easy to talk with the people you are with. People of all ages eating there, so very fun. The menu is exactly what you expect and the ribeye is as good as it gets. Medium rare was the exact temperature our server suggested.

Raquel was an excellent server and took great care of us. The food was wonderful; wish there was a bit dimmer lighting and a little more ambiance.

This restaurant was a delight with old world ambience, good service, delicious food and delectable desserts!

Bridgewater never disappoints from apps to main course to dessert. The atmosphere is terrific as is the wait staff.

Dinner with friends. First time here. Was looking forward to the veal as it was one of my favorites at the old Giovanni’s. Veal Parmesan was every bit as good! Eggplant appetizer was excellent and canola for dessert crispy, creamy and delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Definitely want to come back.
