- JJaimeChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEsterEv makes you feel like you are a celebrity being cooked for at a close friends home. The service is so friendly and familiar while still being extremely professional. This was my second time at EsterEv and it is such a hidden gem. The food is incredible and fresh and uniquely prepared and presented. I kept telling the server how I could never conceive of cooking like this at home which is of course part of the reason dining out at a place like this is a special treat. The sausage dish was transcendent. The bread and broth were like a warm hug on a cold night and the tiny tart at the end was the icing on top. We drove from Chicago and it was worth every minute and every penny. Highly recommend.More infoEsterEvPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Milwaukee•4.9

- SSusanVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our second visit . The first was a disaster, but it was very soon after they opened. Tonight, it was outstanding. We had the burrata salad, very unusual but really excellent. The addition of the oranges with the bitter arugula was very tasty. The entrees were excellent, we had the veal and halibut. And the chocolate pana cotta was perfect ending.More infoSafinaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Milwaukee•4.9
- HHeidiWisconsin •7 reviews5.0Dined on 30 Jan 2025I didn't know until I got there that this is located in the old White House bar, which was favorite of mine in the early 90's. The instant nostalgic hit was my first impression. I love how Sage has kept the beauty and character of the place while giving it a lovely update with chandeliers, plants, and paintings by local artists. I ordered the Lavender #2 cocktail to begin and it was so delicious and presented so prettily that I had to order a second. My dinner was the Winter Salad with Salmon and it was also not only delicious but pretty as well. I am gluten free and the menu was full of great options for me. It was a very slow night, mid week, so I had the opportunity to enjoy chatting with both the owner and the server, who were absolutely lovely. I will definitely return and highly recommend a visit.More infoSAGE - MKEPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Milwaukee•3.9
