Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy where the owner comes from. Its menu reaches some classic of the European cuisine: Paella for two, Cioppino, Focaccias, Grigliata plates of grilled meat or fish large enough to share, prime cuts of steaks are between the favorites, next to an excellent selection of pastas and fresh salads.     We made reservations for 5:30…sunset was about 15 minutes later. It was busy as location is perfect for sunset viewing. When we checked in, we were to be seated right away but hostess suggested we wait while a table was cleaned as it had a primo front seating. We did and it was stunning. The waitress, Tiana was fabulous and friendly. The food was delicious. We plan on returning again before we leave Maui.

    One of our fave spots over the years .. very accommodating for special diet requests (GF) & the food was outstanding!! Coconut shrimp & the hula pie are a must .. Magical sunsets that never disappoint & a great guitarist to entertain .. Mahalo for another wonderful Maui memory!

    Loves every minute of our visit to MonkeyPod. Seated immediately on the side patio. Jess greeted us and brought us 3 Mai tais and a whiskey sour - delicious! Then we shared a Gem Salad and a Brocli Salad - both delicious but the Brocli was so unique we all agreed it was the best. Fish Tacos, Fish and Chops and Macademia Nut encrusted Mahi Mahi we all excellent but my Rib Eye was over the top. Cooked to perfection. We had a bottle of Tempranillo which paired well with everything and topped it all off with Banana Cream pie. Would recommend the entire meal all over again. Jess was an excellent waitress!

    The food was delicious and the wait staff was super friendly. I ordered the Ceasar salad with grilled ahi and was pleasantly surprised with the serving size of the grilled ahi. Usually the add-on proteins at most restaurants is pretty small and this was big and delicious! We also loved the $3 draft beers for happy hour. We will definitely return!
