- BBarryvipSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis is my 5th time at this restaurant. Obviously I like it as I continue to come back. Excellent food and great service. Amazing tapas and paella...worth the 20 minute wait, so have a few tapas first. Everything I've tried is fantastic. Located across from the Curran Theatre, so convenient when seeing something at A.C.T.More infobota tapas and paella barPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Downtown / Union Square•4.4
- LLauravipSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe went to Coqueta to celebrate my niece's birthday. They were not very busy mid-day on a Thursday. Service was exceptional, attentive, helpful, simply lovely. My favorite dishes were the steak, patatas bravas, boquerones, octopus, the beet and kale salads. The Manchego with grapes, grape must jam (?) was delicious, as well as the croquetas de jamon. The cocktails were great. I had one of the gin and tonics (Balta?), and heard good things about one of the Margaritas and the white wine selected by my sister. The Catalan style vegetables with nuts and raisins was good, but I am used to spinach instead of broccoli and would have preferred that. The Marcona almonds were fresh, but very salty. Their menu has something for everyone, though it was a challenge to accommodate the preferences of an 11 year old grand niece who does not like seafood, mayonnaise (aioli on croquetas and by patatas bravas. Look forward to returning.More infoCOQUETA - San FranciscoPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7
- PPhilvipSan Francisco Bay Area •129 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOn a cool and rainy evening in Russian Hill what better oasis than Abrazo. Mike and Israel meet you with a smile and you quickly settle in to the great food , wine and ambiance of this classic neighborhood restaurant. The small plates (Gambas, Chicken and Potato soup, Gem salad and olive bread) are the opener followed by Pork Chop, Chicken and Sole as the mains. Delicious. Wine choices are varied and reasonable. Abrazo is simply a great dining experience.More infoAbrazoPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Russian Hill•4.9
- LluannSan Francisco Bay Area •24 reviews5.0Dined on 17 Oct 2024Wow. We had a wonderful time at the Red Window. We had been anticipating going for a few months. We had booked a table to celebrate 2 belated birthdays in August for October. Little did we know that they changed their hours of opening for October. I called and reconfirmed the date and time with them and they said they would open for us as planned. We were treated like queens. We had a lovely server name Melanie. She served us our fantastic rojo sangria and let us know all the popular tapas and entrees as well as her favorites. One of the birthday girls is a food and wine blogger so she picked Melanie brain on the drinks and food being served. We ordered food we could all share. Caesar salad, Arugula Salad,Buffalo chicken wings, and Chili Braised Lamb pasta. Everything was delicious and very filling. They comp us 4 glasses of champagne to celebrate our 2 ladies birthday. What a memorable day. Melanie from Lucca made it so special for us too. The ambiance of the Red Window is colorful and festive and the lively music they played gave it a party atmosphere. We will all go back again. Thanks to the owner for honoring our reservations. You made us very happy!!More infoThe Red WindowPrice: Moderate• Modern European• North Beach•4.4
