Chef/Owner James DeSisto has a seasonal a la carte menu featuring fresh seafood, pasta, steaks, and appetizers. In addition there is a chef’s special menu featuring local and seasonal food from all over NJ, PA, and NY please keep in mind this menu changes weekly. Chef DeSisto also has gluten free and vegan options for guests as well. Our outdoor patio is weather permitting, if we cannot accommodate outside due to weather we will move you inside depending on availability. As usual, Laboratorio kitchen did not disappoint. The Sole was perfectly cooked and served hot over spinach and haricot verts…. And it was delicious. The appy’s and desserts were fresh and delicately prepared. Lastly, service was on point. Another great dinner experience, Bravo Laboratorio Kitchen.

I met old friends today for lunch and we needed a place in South Orange and just randomly chose this restaurant after doing a Google search for the best restaurants in South Orange. We were absolutely pleasantly surprised because the food was really good and our waitress was even better. Her name was Rain and she was really lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to go back again.
