Fantastic birthday-night at Frau im Mond! I took my boyfriend to the restaurant for his birthday. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. We had booked an outdoor table without thinking how cold it would be, but the staff still changed our booking that we could sit inside. The ambience was lively, with upbeat music and Christmas lights. Our waitress, Lara, was amazing—so friendly and cheerful, making us feel right at home. The Hirschgulasch and pumpkin gnocchi we ordered were delicious, and we’re already excited to try their cheese fondue next time! A special highlight was the birthday-surprise! We got the full experience with stuff and guests singing and dancing happy birthday and a delicious cake topped with fresh berries! Needless to say he was very touched and surprised! We ended the night on the rooftop terrace with generous drinks (delicious espresso martini) and a beautiful view of the Isar. Wow wow, thank you so much for the great evening! :) 10/10

Fantastic experience overall! The service is amazing, and the ambience is perfect for a great night out. Specializing in ribs, this restaurant keeps the menu short but every item is a winner—everything we ordered was cooked to perfection!

The tasting menu with wine paring was exceptional. The owners are hands on the entire evening and talked us through each course and glass. Truly amazing.
