Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Costa Mesa

This was our first time at Farmhouse at Roger's Gardens, and we fell in love. The twinkling lights everywhere made my heart happy. The boys loved the burger and fries, and even the ketchup was made in-house! I had the pizza of the day, a prosciutto and Honeycrisp apple concoction that was delightful and delicious. Who knew apples worked on a pizza?!? My daughter had the half Jidori chicken, which was juicy and tender, and a large enough portion that she took half of it home with her. We also sampled two desserts, the lemon tart and apple crisp. Both were amazing, but the apple crisp was our favorite of the two. I definitely will be back and highly recommend this spot for a satisfying farm-to-fork meal.

We had the BEST experience at Water Grill! The service was incredible (& super helpful with reco’s… also noted that we were there for a Bday and made it very special). The food was perfect, so delicious. The ambience was everything I could have wished for. We will be back!

Had their famous maple bacon doughnut, it’s delicious. I ordered the maple pecan crusted salmon and it’s tender. I love their truffle fries. The ambiance is great for family and date night. Our server is attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu.

I will start by saying I was worried the food would not live up to my expectations, however that was not a problem at all. Some of the freshest and best executed dishes I have had. The prices add up quick, but once we were done with the meal it was worth every penny. Favorite dishes included: yellowtail jalapeño, chilean sea bass, ribeye with truffle butter and the mango kakigori shaved iced is a must. The tuna tacos were small but good as well. Server was very attentive without being pushy which was appreciated since we were there closing on a Sunday night. Will definitely visit again when in the Newport area.

Really nice vibe for an anniversary date night. I got the salmon which was fabulous and my boyfriend got the highly recommended El Churrasco. He was not impressed with the churrasco quite expensive for what it was. We also got the chicken empanadas as an appetizer and it was his favorite part of the meal. Overall the vibes were nice and staff was kind.
