Absolute perfection from the food to the fabulous staff Faultless and we will certainly return

Very good food but the portion size has reduced in comparison with former visits. It’s not that I want a large meal but the portions were quite small.

Very accommodating venue. Friendly staff. Happy to let us natter and take our time. Excellent!

Great food, although the chocolate dessert was a little dense, but the main events - steak and the sea bream - were excellent. Good, attentive and friendly service and they prepared our food in advance for us, since we'd told them we were going straight to a show afterwards. Only dropped stars because there was no real atmosphere but that's possibly because we were eating relatively early.

It has been a few months since we dined at The George but we received a lovely warm welcome and had a faultless, delicious dinner. Looking forward to returning .
