My wife had the nut roast, with all the trimmings, I had the Sunday special local mussels in a white wine and cream sauce, with bread to mop up the juices. We shared a triple chocolate brownie which was nice moist, served with ice cream and a hot chocolate sauce. Excellent service from the two young and enthusiastic waiter/waitress. Cheese soufflé with smoked haddock and a ‘mock tail’ of orange, bitter lemon and rosemary, served with a smile. Absolutely superb food and service, my wife and I were celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty. We had the seafood platter for two and a sweet each which was more than enough.
