Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Galveston

The place was recommended to me and was told to get a reservation. The place just wasn’t as packed as I envisioned, making we wonder if it is still a hot spot for visitors and locals alike. Maybe we were there just too early? The food was delicious though and our server was attentive enough. If we were back in town, go back to give another menu item a try.

The food presentation and the flavor were excellent Most of the dishes are done on the wood fired grill. We were a group of four and had the focaccia, burrata and grilled octopus for appetizers and everything was excellent. They gave us the blistered bean salad on the house it is highly recommended for mains we had a pizza, pasta, red snapper and the NY Strip. The steak was amazing. The fish was a bit on the dry side.

Went for anniversary dinner…outstanding. Great food and atmosphere.

Great overall experience. The fries were great! We ordered 2 servings. Salad was soggy and the burger was good. Overpriced but good.
