Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Freeport

In a word, Exceptional!! From the deliciously hand-crafted martini's with the most amazing hand stuffed blue cheese olives (any place who serves them should take note, because there a lot of posers out there and it makes a huge difference in the martini). The professional and friendly service was outstanding and not rushed, which is important when you are out for a nice dining experience. We began our food journey with the appetizer special of eggplant rollatini which was superb and flavorful followed by perfectly prepared rack of lamb and salmon. We will definitely be back and you should mark this one down for your food journey. Great ambiance as well!!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We truly enjoyed the spinach and butternut squash salad. Food was served quickly and waitress checked on us to see if we were fine. We definitely enjoyed.

•Avenue Social • Bellmore Town• Place is always the best and somehow seems to be better each time . Appetizers : grilled calamari & avenue salad Dinner : Brazed Short rib & Skirt Steak dinner . Both really declicious and cooked perfectly . Staff : Nick waited on our table - knowledge , Constant check ins and helpful with a food allergy.

The experience was very good throughout the evening. The ambience was beautiful. The food is delicious… love the presentation for the food. The drinks are on point. Can’t wait to go back there again.

We went during happy hour, which was awesome. Cocktails from the specialty menu were all three dollars off. Oysters are buy one for a dollar so we bought a dozen. Of course they were amazing. We also ordered from the early bird prefix menu, which I didn’t realize they had until we got there. I was able to get the linguine and clams, which were delicious. Plus a bowl of New England Clam chowder for a great price.
