Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Old Town Scottsdale

From start to finish, our Valentine's Day dining experience was absolutely exceptional! We were thrilled with the extensive and thoughtfully curated menu – so many delicious options to choose from, which was a delightful surprise. But what truly elevated the evening was the incredible service. Our host was simply amazing! Her warm, friendly demeanor made us feel so welcome, and she checked on us frequently, ensuring we had everything we needed. She has a true gift for hospitality, making each guest feel like the most important person in the restaurant. The food was, of course, superb, but combined with the outstanding service, it created a truly memorable and special evening. We can't wait to return!

First time to try out this spot and I'm glad I did. The prime rib sandwich and truffle fries were delicious. Service was excellent and the restaurant had a cool vibe going. Good crowd for lunch but easy to have a conversation with my lunch partner.

We had a reservation and was seated promptly upon arrival. Staff was friendly, service was great and food was excellent. We had 5 in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal Chips are not included with the meal so we didn't fill up on chips which made us enjoy our meal even more1

Went to the Herb Box with a party of four for a pre-dinner show at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Can definitely recommend. I'm the vegan of the group, and the vegan options were superb. Additionally, a couple of us no longer drink, and HB's mocktails were quite good. The restaurant can get a little loud, and when there was a rush of people they could've used some extra servers to help out, but those are minor nits. Would come back here again for sure.

Another wonderful dinner at Olive & Ivy! We ordered the crispy brussels sprouts as and appetizer and it was an excellent start. We also split a beet salad, and it didn’t disappoint for those who love beets. My wife then ordered the chicken scallopini and she loved it. I dined on the filet and it was cooked perfectly. The sauce was delicious and the scalloped potatoes which accompanied the steak made it a totally enjoyable meal. Service was again outstanding. Certainly will be going back during our stay in the Scottsdale area.
