Executive Chef and Creative Director Om Waleed’s dishes have a wealth of influences from Palestine, the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Our food looks amazing and tastes even better and as you’ll see ‘every dish tells a story’. Fait Maison at 50 Gloucester Road is a great favourite locally, serving up wonderful homemade food using the finest ingredients and friendly, welcoming service. Kindly note that only Fait Maison cakes are permitted in store, do get in touch in advance, if you have a celebration to order a birthday / celebration cake. During very busy periods in the summer and over the Christmas holidays, we work on a walk-in basis.     This was my first time at this restaurant, and I'm glad I decided to book my Christmas reservation there. From the time you walk in, the atmosphere is terrific, with the pink flowers and vines in the right locations and lengths. I was seated at a table for one close to the front of the house. It was a good location, and I could observe everything happening. My servicer ( I believe his name was ( Fab), but I'm unsure. He explained the Christmas menu and advised me to select the regular one as the appetizers were too much for one person to enjoy. His suggestion paid off, and I enjoyed the salad, somas, and Lamb Shank. I could not finish all the food as it was too much. I ended my wonderful meal with a mint tea, which helped ease my stomach. It was a great end to my vacation in Chelsea and my Christmas. I highly recommend this place. I will visit again when I return to the area.
