Best Pubs in Holcombe

Received the most lovely welcome from a lady who commented on the humour used at my point of booking and was THEEEEE MOST ACCOMMODATING in finding us a table that matched my disabilities Food was simply delightful. Best roasted potatoes and creamed cabbage everrr. We enjoyed starters of mushrooms on sourdough (the chef changed the starter to accommodate my dislike of blue cheese) and my friend enjoyed the black pudding & bacon stack from the specials menu We both chose the mixed roast main course (chicken, beef & pork belly). We ordered extra cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets (yes greedy but necessary). Too full for desserts but good choice available. A couple of coffees and x2 pints of soft drink each. £40 ish each Just book. You’ll love it !!!

A great experience as always. The pub has such a cosy atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Ben is sn asset to the venue . Had a fantastic meal withour friends. Thank you.

Have eaten from general menu several times but this time tried Sunday lunch. Really good and would not hesitate to have again.

Great pub, great location, food very good value, and service not to bad,just needs a little more attention to the little things. Eg cutlery and condiments on tables would go a long way. Making waiting on a little easier. But well done keep it going. Food excellent.

Went as a family, 10 of us in total. Staff were amazing and took great care of us. Food was great even the fussy kids didn’t have any complaints. Would definitely return :)
