The half soup / half sandwich offering is a good value, nicely presented, and creatively prepared. The soup should have been hotter, and the chicken sandwich had chunks of sour rhubarb and a drippy sauce that made it too messy to eat without a fork. Super friendly service and a great vibe will make me want to try again and order something different.More infoFlinders Lane Kitchen and BarPrice: Expensive• Australian• Stamford•4.5
- JJeanVIPNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Feb 2025i hesitate to write this review because i selfishly don't want this place to be discovered. Actually it's been there for decades but i was just introduced to it a few months ago, have been 7 times and can't wait to go back again - next time for brunch which i hear is a treat. Cafe V is a truly welcoming spot, wonderful European ambiance and the most gracious efficient staff you will find anywhere. I've been for lunch and dinner and it never seems crowded or rushed therefore the noise level is subdued esp compared to other places on a Sat night. The menus has a wide selection of uniformly delicious apps and entrees; everything my friends and i have ordered has been yummy. I especially love the blackened salmon salad; i could easily eat it every day but the buddha salad, the burgers and the other seafood is equally praiseworthy. And save room for dessert where Cafe V really excels- there is a huge selection of cakes, tarts and pastries all of it irresistible, esp the fruit tarts. The prices are quite reasonable esp for Greenwich and considering the caliber of the food and the overall wonderful experience I hope im not my own worst enemy in posting this review but Cafe V deserves to be singled out.More infoBistro Versailles & PâtisseriePrice: Expensive• French• Greenwich•4.8
- TThelmaConnecticut •1 review5.0Dined on 26 Jan 2025This was the first time that anyone in our dinner party had ever frequented Tequila Escape. We were pleasantly surprised and the experience continued to get better as the evening progressed! Ambiance, cocktails, culinary experience, music, and dancing were highly rated by all. We will definitely be back!More infoTequila Escape - StamfordPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Stamford•3.8
