Best Cocktail Bars in Darien

My girlfriend and I had a very nice time! All of the servers and staff made us feel very comfortable for a romantic dinner as a queer couple! Food was delicious and portions were perfect. You left the restaurant feeling full in the best way! Very fun experience and worth the money! Visit if you’re wanting to have a fancy evening!

First time visit to Taco Guy and really enjoyed it. I had two of the specials - Mexican oysters and a shrimp/scallops cerviche dish. Very inventive and very delicious. I have found my new favorite Mexican restaurant. As for libations, I think they specialize in drinks as opposed to wine. Only 3 wines by the glass. The one I ordered - a Spanish Grenacha - came in a thin can, which took me (sort of a wine guy) by surprise. But, and here's the important point, I enjoyed it and had a second one! So, it's not the quantity but the quality that's important. I'm looking forward to going back again soon.

Welcoming and attentive service made this business luncheon comfortable and productive, but the food was a little disappointing. The half soup / half sandwich offering is a good value, nicely presented, and creatively prepared. The soup should have been hotter, and the chicken sandwich had chunks of sour rhubarb and a drippy sauce that made it too messy to eat without a fork. Super friendly service and a great vibe will make me want to try again and order something different.

This was the first time that anyone in our dinner party had ever frequented Tequila Escape. We were pleasantly surprised and the experience continued to get better as the evening progressed! Ambiance, cocktails, culinary experience, music, and dancing were highly rated by all. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is exceptional! The mozzarella sticks appetizer is outstanding as well as the Eggplant tower highly recommend both. We had short ribs and rigatoni pasta with grilled chicken for dinner. Both dinners were flavorful and excellent. This place is a neighborhood gem! Kudos to SoNo Wood Fired and team!
