Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Grosse Pointe Park

Wonderful experience! After a disastrous Valentine’s Day at another restaurant, my fiancée and I needed a make-up date—and Oak & Reel did not disappoint. They exceeded our expectations and made our evening truly special. From the impeccable attention to detail to the punctual kitchen staff and expert service, every aspect of our experience was unforgettable. We will certainly be back!

The overall experience here was excellent. We went here for Valentine’s Day. There was a band playing smooth jazz in the entryway, but it was not excessively loud. I got the chicken shawarma and crushed lentil soup which were both to die for. My partner ordered the falafel and shrimp linguine which were also both excellent. The wait staff was a little less attentive than one would think for the number of people that were dining, but it was not a significant problem. The ambience was beautiful and romantic, and the prices were not exceptionally high given the quality of food and the atmosphere.

My wife and I had a great Valentine’s Day dinner at Bar Pigalle! The staff and service were amazing, so friendly and attentive. The meal outstanding and the atmosphere was great as well.

There was an event going on and that made seating for nonparticipating customers have to wait. Should let customers know in advance. We traveled a long way had reservations and still had to wait.we did get seated but it was at the bar.

Food was excellent and plentiful. Excellent service and the place was very clean. Atmosphere was great and cheerful.
