Best Seafood Restaurants in Wauconda

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Di Pescara. The crab cake appetizer was a bit of a disappointment, though. It tasted ok, but I was hoping it would have larger lumps or chunks of crab, since it’s called “Jumbo Lump Crab Cake”. It didn’t. My wife got the Horseradish-crusted Whitefish, and I got the Mediterranean Branzino. Both were really good, but we each liked our own dishes slightly better. Our server, Marco, was excellent. You could tell he has a lot of experience. The restaurant was pretty full (Sat night), but the noise level was not too loud at all.

Our server was amazing and food was great. We have been there before— and the Caesar portion was bigger in prior visits— so that would be my only complaint, but overall we had a great time and will be back again!

Had a wonderful dinner at Devon last night. The shrimp and lobster ravioli with a thermidor sauce were outstanding! The sauce had lots lobster chunks in it. Delicious! Also try the maple planked salmon. It’s always perfect. Ask for Alex: she provides excellent service and is very knowledgeable about the menu.

The food was excellent and Louis provided exceptional customer service. I’ll definitely come back to Shaw’s the next time I’m in Chicago. Thanks again.

The food is wonderfully prepared and so delicious. This is a definite place to go for special occasions and just to treat yourself. It's worth every penny.
