Best Italian Restaurants in North Charlotte

We had an awesome dining experience at Aria. We were fortunate to secure a last minute reservation for our Valentines Day anniversary. Having read reviews we were excited about dining there. It was everything and more. Service was superb, our drinks and meals were delicious and pricing more than reasonable. Although it was very busy, we were never rushed and all courses and drinks were wonderfully paced. Thanks!!!

We had a reservation for Valentines so it was a set menu, but we’re still happy with the available choices. It was our first visit here so we were expecting tiny portions, because it always seems like the more expensive the meal is, the less actual food you get. But that was not the case at all with this place. We walked out completely full and happy. Everything we got was tasty, and had zero complaints. The staff was very friendly and they even offer free parking for up to two hours at the attached parking garage, which is a huge plus. It was a little pricey at $70 a person for the fixed menu, but like I said it was more than enough food to fill us up. We will definitely be returning to try out their regular menu items soon!

We arrived a little early to have a cocktail at the bar. Service was classy! We seated on time and enjoyed appertizers to share. We were not rushed. We did order main meals and a couple sides (beets and Brussels). The main meals were fantastic, however the sides never came. The waitress was lovely and kept our drinks full. Food and atmosphere was great. We’ll be back again.

Outstanding service! Thanks to Joel. Food was very good. A few things would have made it great. Love salt but heavy handed on the oysters. The bruschetta was fantastic, but would have been spectacular if the bread had been fully toasted. Mushy on the bottom. The tomatoes on it were spectacular as was the olive oil powder. We had a good, crisp Cesar salad and shared the Cacio Pepe. We thought the sauce was perfect. Light and peppery but not stodgy. We didn’t care for the pasta, which was more like a heavy gnocchi. So much so that we asked if we had gotten the dish we ordered. Loved the feel of the place. The lights and open kitchen were fun. A big comfortable booths were nice. The wine pours were exceptional and the prices excellent. Very good value. Not noisy and very enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip!

I absolutely adore this place! Every visit seems to surpass the previous one, making each experience feel uniquely special. The service is nothing short of extraordinary—attentive, friendly, and prompt, it truly elevates the entire atmosphere and makes you feel right at home!
