Best Bistros in Torrey Pines

Two friends flew in from out of town & I suggested we try C Level. Neither had been before. It was a sunny gorgeous day & we sat out on the patio. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. We ordered the lobster Mac & cheese, fish & chips & shrimp & crab Louie salad. Everything was fresh & flavorful. They loved our lunch & would highly recommend it.

We ate outside in the courtyard where it is quieter and a great setting.

The sole was superb. The only thing that could have made it better would be to serve it with boiled peeled new potatoes with parsley and a touch of butter. One comment. Your food is always excellent, but it would be good to have a few items on the menu that change much more often to provide more variety to habitués like us.

We’re locals and as always we love coming here and usually bring our dog, which is great. I was a bit disappointed to see a new menu with only a few of the great salads. The waiter was very accommodating and got me the salad I missed. Thank you.

Always delicious, especially the pretzel best in town . Larry is wonderful. Always makes our evening special . Will return soon
