- RRaymondSouth Carolina •6 reviews5.0Dined todayCharlie's has been consistently good since we started going there some years ago. We went there for our anniversary dinner last night and had a lovely evening. The staff and management were very helpful and the only reason I am not going with 5 stars all the way, is because the desert menu was like all desert menus these days: nothing hot except bread and butter pudding, maybe the creme brûlée. It's so hard these days to find a restaurant that actually makes deserts like Grand Marnier Soufflé's with a creme Anglaise, or crepes suzette or anything that involves any preparation at all and is not served with whipped cream out of a can. Besides that, my wife had very nice Swordfish and I had the breast of duck and we enjoyed them with an unusual Chenin Blanc called Love from the Loire coastal region. The orange mousse in a chocolate cup was as expected and we could have given it a miss.More infoCharlie's Coastal Bistro (L'etoile Verte)Price: Expensive• Seafood• Hilton Head•4.9

Great menu selection; as well as, the daily specials! The wine selection should please any serious wine connoisseur! Get your reservation in early as they were very busy every night! If you’re looking for a nice meal, cocktails & dessert, in a family friendly, service minded restaurant, then look no further than Alexander’s ~ you will not be disappointed!More infoAlexander's Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Hilton Head•4.7
