It may be common but paying extra for a salad as a second side irritates us. Though the side salad IS large and very good! So it is worth $6, just wish even a smaller version came with the meal instead. The water waiter immediately filled our glasses as we sat down. The waitress was very friendly, fast, informative, and proficient. The food was quite tasty. The shrimp luca is an excellent choice along with the lamb shank. A very good dining experience. One small notation, the waitress should wait until the customer is done with their table conversation before making inquiries regarding placement of an order, rather than interrupting.
