Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Magnolia

Love Dulcino’s. We had our Valentine’s dinner there last night. Our original reservations were for 7:00pm. We arrived at 6:00pm because I wanted to go earlier. The owner, Sam, greeted us and immediately said It was not a problem that we came in earlier. We sat at the bar and in minutes a table was ready for us. Jeanette, Sam’s wife came over to make sure we were comfortable while we waited for our table to be ready. The food, wine and service was 5-star excellent! Always a pleasure dining at Dulcino’s Italian Steakhouse in Conroe.

Conroe location has the best chefs! This location has been open about two years and it never disappoints. For whatever reason the chefs at this location consistently produce a good meal. We had chicken fried rice, filet and the trio of chicken, filet and shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection with lots of yummy garlic butter.

My wife and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary at this location. Everything was perfect. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our special day. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Valentine’s Day special. We had lobster bao for appetizer. We received a very generous amount of lobster in our bao. Our entree was a surf and turf combo of ora king salmon and wagyu. It’s hands down the single most delicious dish we have eaten. It’s a shame it’s only a special because it’s a dish I can see myself eating repeatedly. We ordered lobster Mac and cheese for our sides. Likewise, they were very generous with the lobster meat. The drinks had a good amount of alcohol. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive as well as the other members of staffs. We were well attended while not being intrusive nor a bother. We will definitely come back to eat here again. We highly recommend this restaurant to eat. You will not be disappointed. If I were to make one negative comment, it will be the price value. You will end up spending a lot, but you will get your moneys worth. We got higher quality ingredients and higher quality service. We will definitely come back again despite the higher price value.

We made reservations for 8 people for Valentine’s Day. The only table available at the time we chose was outdoor. It was actually completely covered with heaters overhead. It was nice and warm, and the noise level was quieter than indoors. We ordered calamari for the table, wedge salads, and the lunch pork chop specials. It was delicious, and we all had leftovers to take home!

We had four different dishes (two steaks and two types of fish. ALL were delicious. I really don’t think you could find anything that wasn’t outstanding. The one thing I would change is the noise level. They might refer to it as energetic, I thought it was a little too loud. Made it necessary to speak louder and it seemed like a competition. No a huge problem but not a quiet romantic dinner. A matter of taste. Great experience.
