Best Cafés in East Vancouver

Food was tasty but very small. Service was excellent and coffees (americanos) were very good. Too expensive for the amount of food.

Nice restaurant with a great ambiance. We went at dinner time, when it was the wine bar. The food/tapas was good, really interesting selection and really well done. Portions are a bit small, and prices are a bit pricey if we're being honest -- not a place you'd go if you're looking to leave full. However, the staff was very kind and portions and prices are to be expected for these kind of spots. The wine flight is extremely good value in my opinion -- also kind of what they're known for. I'd recommend the Squash & whipped Ricotta and the Halloumi sticks. I'd skip on the desert though, we got 2 things - chocolate mousse and tiramisu (one of them for free!), sadly, they were both extremely mid.

Our dinner was delicious and the service was fantastic. My only complaint was that our table wasn’t ready for 10+ minutes after our reservation time and there really isn’t anywhere to stand and wait. It was below 0 outside so waiting outside was also not an option. I understand a small restaurant like this needs to fill its seats and sometimes tables take longer to finish up — it just wasn’t the best way to start the evening. That said, everything after that was exceptional. Great place, exceptional food, and friendly service. We will for sure be back again!

Amazing food. The other reviews were right to say it is unpretentious but without compromising in class and quality. I'm glad I live far from this restaurant otherwise it would do some real damage to my wallet on a weekly basis!

Highly recommend. Sweet and savoury food choices were all excellent (salmon croissant, salmon and advocado toast, and French toast), the hot chocolate with chantille cream was to die for! Lovely environment and servers were friendly and welcoming. Will be back for another lovely experience!
