Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Etchingham

First time back to Tottington in too long! Booked a reasonably last-minute Sunday Lunch and we were not disappointed. Everything, from reception on arrival, to service, food delivery and the actual food itself, was just superb. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect and the care and attention paid by the team was excellent in every respect; cannot fault it. We opted for the Sunday Roast; Tottington has a spin on the usual "pub roast" - slightly posher version but better in every way; the flavours and presentation was absolutely spot on, and thoroughly appreciated. Service was rather slow but they were very pleasant

Awesome location. Very tranquil. Took my mum there and we both loved it. The shop, well I could spend all day and a lot of money. The food, amazing, egss benedict was off the chart. the service, really good. Very helpful staff. Knew their product. Will definitely be returning.

Received as a gift which was just lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere, we were not rushed at all. Sandwiches slightly disappointing but sausage roll was amazing. Scones were amazing as were all the other cakes, most especially the meringue. Tea was plentiful and as much as you wanted.

Delicious afternoon tea! Freshly made sandwiches with interesting fillings! Also freshly made warm scones. A lovely selection of cakes and as much tea and coffee as we wanted. Efficient, professional and friendly service. Everything was super clean. We were the only people in the room, a beautifully decorated and cosy room, which made it extra special. We go every year just after Christmas and it never disappoints. We will definitely be going back! 100% recommendable.
