We're proud to say that Brighton was the second ever Bill's, and whilst it's no longer a bus depot (spoiler, it used to be a bus depot), it still transports you to the good times. Oh, and it's only up the road from the seafront, so there's no excuse to miss it, even if you get lost in the Lanes.

Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

    Overall the food was good. We had the small plates. The beetroot salad and chantilly carrots were delicious. The crispy cauliflower was disappointing as it was soaked in a sauce resulting in it being soggy rather than crispy. The major dissappointment however was the ambience. We were seated in the area near the bar where there was an excessive use of spotlights so it felt like an interrogation bay. Had we gone on another evening when less busy, we would have asked to be moved.

    We had a fantastic meal at Colombo Kitchen as a group of 10 to celebrate a hen party. The team could not have been more polite, attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was INCREDIBLE and the whole time we were there we felt welcome and never rushed. Catering to specific dietary needs is tricky but these guys couldn't have been more on the ball! Absolutely fantastic, seriously cannot recommend it enough!
