Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. We had to wait longer than expected for our food, and several other tables asked how much longer until their order arrived. One pizza was undercooked but the staff were very good about it, and gave us another fresh pizza, and that pizza order was for free (didn't pay for the undercooked or the fresh one). Once the food arrived it was very good, and it the venue has a lovely relaxed vibe. The music was in the background and the tables are set out so that it never becomes overcrowded. The cocktails and mocktails were excellent.
