Best Restaurants for Foodies in Thornbury

Went here for a galentines dinner with my friend and we were both blown away with how yummy the food was! Absolutely obsessed with the king fish sashimi and crispy duck wontons. We got the feed me menu which was very reasonably priced and the mains were a good size. Cocktails were superb. Overall such a great experience, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food came out quickly and my taste buds will never be the same. Highly recommend.

We had the Valentine’s Day set menu and the food was amazing, great quality. Staff were really nice. Only negative is that they tried to squish too many people into the restaurant and service was slightly slower than normal.

The staff were polite, friendly and organised and the atmosphere was great. We sat in a booth in the front of the restaurant. The food was amazing, well presented and portions were good.

Loved Lagoon Dining! Strikes the right balance between being absolutely delicious and interesting! Everything tasted absolutely amazing. So hard to pick a favourite dish, but if I had to, it would be pickled cucumbers. Our waiter/server was the nicest, most friendly guy who made our dinner experience beautiful. I highly recommend Lagoon Dining to anyone who appreciates great food, friendly service and terrific energy in a restaurant.

I discovered this restaurant last year and fast became one of my favourite places to dine in Melbourne. I love the modern twist on Chinese cuisine.
