Best Vegan Restaurants in West Dallas

From the moment Valet takes your vehicle until getting back in your car, the experience is unbeatable. I mean, these folks were still attending and going above and beyond AFTER paying and walking out. Usually restaurants are done with you after they’ve received their funds, and that receipt is signed. Hilario the GM personally went around asking if we needed anything, gave us a gift for our anniversary, I mean this guy made us feel like we’ve known each other for years. If you’re new to the area or already from Dallas, this place won’t disappoint!

We visited to celebrate the man’s birthday. We arrived early since we planned to visit a couple of other places afterward. When we got there, it was fairly empty, but it didn’t stay that way for long. The space is really spacious. We dined in the main dining room, and the service was excellent. The host, servers, and manager were all very friendly. For appetizers, we ordered the wagyu pigs in a blanket and pepperoni and sausage pizza. I had a shot of tequila, while the man enjoyed an Old Fashioned and an IPA. The appetizers were delicious. I couldn’t decide if I liked the honey mustard crème sauce that came with the pigs in a blanket, but I definitely enjoyed them without the sauce. For our main dishes, we had the roasted salmon and steak frites. The salmon had a perfectly crispy top layer and was cooked to a perfect medium. It was delicious! It came with butternut squash farro, which I wasn’t sure how I felt about, but it was interesting. The steak frites were flavorful and also cooked to a perfect medium. Very tasty. Unfortunately, we had no room left for dessert. We spent about $190, including the tip. After we paid, we went to check out the rooftop. It was stunning—spacious, with tables and seating perfectly arranged to showcase the beautiful city skyline and lights. We grabbed two more drinks at the bar and soaked in the view, spending another $35 with tip. We would definitely return and plan to opt for rooftop dining next time. Highly recommend!

Everything Duro Hospitality does is a hit, and The Charles is no exception! The service was impeccable, the drinks were top notch, and the food was delectable! We had a large party and showed up to the back bar an hour before for pre dinner drinks and they were so accommodating to take care of us and always kept us informed of the table. They treated the birthday guest to an amazing glass of champagne, and made the whole experience amazing. Charles was our server and he was great! Nate the Manager on duty as well as his whole staff was absolutely amazing. We will be back so many more times, and I am so happy that Duro has this gem in their repertoire!

Great service great customer service but the food was interesting.. lobster and shrimp appetizer toooo sweet, and the warm crab roll no taste like before and was not warm…. And the mash potatoes were dry and hard… The quality of food should be the same as how you present all the cuts of steaks.. especially for the price point!!!

Beautiful location. Great environment. My server Sam was amazing. Menu is very limited.
