- KKathyVIPNebraska •23 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have been to Talus a few times. We live about 40 miles away so it’s a bit of a drive. But we were celebrating my birthday with our best friends and I chose Talus because it is always good and we were able to make a reservation. We were seated right away in a booth which was perfect as our friend Dave will be having a hip surgery soon and the booths are more comfortable. Our server, Angela, came over right away with waters and to take our drink order and explain the Valentines menu. She made our experience that much better. I had the cod which was cooked to perfection and super flaky. The potatoes served with it were excellent and the vegetable medley was delicious . Our friend Marilyn had the seafood risotto which was delicious and creamy and a very generous portion. The guys had the salmon and both said it was some of the best they have had. The Valentines special drinks were very good especially the raspberry which was so creamy and delicious. Worth the drive and we will definitely be back.More infoTalus Spirits & SustenancePrice: Moderate• American• Papillion•4.8
- SSaraNebraska •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThey were very busy and possibly short staffed as we didn’t see our server except to order and he delivered our drinks and then gave us our bill at then end. We requested more water a couple of times but no one brought any. The food was delicious and the many dishes that sounded so good- were hard to choose from. We ordered the chicken prosciutto, gnocchi vodka with chicken and bison meatloaf and each of thoroughly enjoyed our meals.More infoRailcar Modern American KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• West Omaha•4.6
- TThomasNebraska •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoExcellent wait staff and ambiance. We had the broiled oysters, featured seafood of mahi-mahi with lemon beurre blanc, and the blackened chicken linguini. All of which were excellent and super tasty. The pasta was one of the best pastas I’ve eaten, and the broiled oysters were perfect and are a must-try. I highly recommend this place, and we will be coming back.More infoPlank Provisions - OmahaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown / Old Market•4.7
- MMistyNebraska •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoHad a wonderful dining experience for Valentine's Day, dinner. Had to increase the reservation a few days prior and 801 graciously accommodated. When we arrived, we received a friendly greeting and were seated promptly. Our main server was extremely friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about every item we asked about on the menu. The serving team that assisted were also very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. There were 4 people in our party & everything we ordered tasted absolutely amazing! The family style sides were definitely a great choice, so we could all try different things and not a single option disappointed! I highly recommend 801 Chophouse for any special occasion! My only regret is that the cost is on the higher end, at least for my budget. And I wish I could frequent this wonderful restaurant more often!More info801 Chophouse - OmahaPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown / Old Market•4.8
