- LLynnevipNashville •21 reviews5.0Dined todayWe had a great meal at Pelato. The vibe was definitely a New York state of mind and the food rivaled many of the great NYC pasta houses. Our waitress was outstanding explaining the menu and offering suggestions. On Sunday's they make Sunday sauce and next time I go on a Sunday I will definitely order it for the table. Since this was our first time, we opted to each order a pasta dish to try and all were delicious. The meatballs and arancini were equally great. The wine list was little limited but what they offered was fairly priced - just remember your id as they will ask everyone at the table to prove they are old enough to legally imbibe. Make your reservations now and you will thank me later!More infoPelatoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Germantown•4.7
- KKevinvipNashville •33 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoJacob & Lewis were excellent! The experience is just what you expect from Jeff Ruby's. From the cocktails, Godfather Roll appetizer, 8 oz petite fillets, baked mac & cheese, asparagus and sautéed mushrooms all were prepared with attention to detail and delicious. Each steak was perfectly prepared from rare to medium plus! The baked mac & cheese was the best! Our dessert, crème brûlée, and Espresso Martinis capped off an awesome dining experience! Highly recommend for a special occasion or date night!More infoJeff Ruby's Steakhouse - NashvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9
- NNathanNashville •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe night was absolutely wonderful. We had a great server, delicious drinks (if they have the Black Magic when you go, GET it), wonderful food (the rack of lamb? to die for), and as always, the magic was top-notch. My date had never seen close-up magic in person before, so that was exceptionally fun! The ambience is romantic and cool. The dress code makes certain no one feels over or under dressed (which can make some people feel awkward about themselves, so that’s a big thumbs up from me). Overall it was, and don’t pardon my pun, a magical night and a fun experience.More infoHouse of CardsPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•4.7
- RrobertvipNew York City •47 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoYolan was amazing! From the moment we arrived they were very accommodating. Came over and took our costs and brought my wife a hook for her pocketbook. Jake took care of us and he was so friendly and helpful. Wonderful server. Great wine list. Very extensive but almost all Italian wines. The service was top notch. And the food was delicious. My wife had the halibut and she loved it. I had the Dover sole (whole fish). It was fileted and very large. We could have shared it. All in all, one the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while.More infoYolanPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.6
- LLisavipCaribbean •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur server, Ray, was spectacular - if six stars was an option, that is what we would choose. The food was great! The Farmer's tableside salad was a great start after appetizers - we had the tuna and it was exceptional. Another member of our party had crab legs which were deemed very good. The halibut entree was even better - you don't often see halibut steak but that is what they serve and it was fabulous. and the lamb chops were some of the best in town. And the rolls - don't pass on them. So good. We also ordered the honeynut squash and the potatoes. Both were excellent sides. The sommelier was knowledgeable and recommended the perfect wine to accompany our meal choices. The apple dessert was a winner! Sadly, the menu option for one of the fish dishes and what was offered were very different - a salt crusted black bass, which is what two of our party wanted, was not available and being replaced with red snapper. However, we were not told that the presentation would change. The snapper was a good, but unappealing-looking piece of fish, served skin side up on a very large, otherwise empty plate - and the skin was not crisped. Even adding the citrusy sauce didn't change it's plate appeal. When you are anticipating a dish you don't usually make at home (salt-crusted fish) and get an anemic-looking piece of snapper, it was a bit of a let down. We enjoyed our experience and will be back.More infoCarne Mare NashvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• The Gulch & North Gulch•4.6
