We had cheese soufflé and mussels to start while expecting the soufflé to be the best choice turns out the sauce for the mussels was probably the best either of us have ever had. Lamb and pork for mains were excellent and really interesting take on them. unfortunately no space for deserts despite how good they sounded. Next time we’ll forego the very nice bread and olives in an attempt to save room. Emma in the reservations team went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order for our visit and was just so helpful and understanding of our circumstances. The problem was I had only been at the table for 15 minutes when both children (under 7) wanted the toilet. Despite leaving our coats and half eaten food by the time we returned the waitress had cleared the table! The manageress was very apologetic and boxed up some cakes to take away but my coffee and the children’s drinks went without replacement !
