Best Date Night Restaurants in Rosebank

Chef Massimo and his team do a fantastic job in service and food quality. We are sad to see Vinum go and we will be sure to visit Don Cheech.

We came to Don Cheech for the first time as new Staten Islanders who tend to gravitate towards Brooklyn celebrating a very momentous occasion in our life (being cancer free!), and everything from the food to the service did not disappoint. Stephanie is an actual gem - I called prior to our reservation to ask for a dessert request with writing, and she was so gracious and heartfelt over why we were celebrating over dinner. She connected with us the whole time, checked up on how we were doing constantly, all while chef Massimo prepared for us the most amazing meal. The ambiance was fantastic - a quiet Thursday night with a great week day special if you’re looking for that - it was the best all around. We can’t wait to be regulars here!!!

What a great experience! Beautiful space, really welcoming staff and the food was amazing. I strongly recommend the lobster rolls. They were literally make your mouth water just thinking about them the next day. Drinks were great. Above all, the staff is really well trained. Everyone is approachable and friendly. Extra shout out to Zach and John for recognizing us from Violette's!

I had an incredible time at this spot! The drinks were phenomenal—my tequila on the rocks was perfectly balanced, and my cousin thoroughly enjoyed the rum. We started with the pineapple guacamole and street corn (with cheese on the side), both of which were bursting with flavor. Our entrées were exceptional, prepared with care and presented beautifully. To top it off, the dessert was absolutely perfect—a sweet end to an already fantastic meal. The waitress was attentive and efficient, and the service overall was exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a great dining experience!

Amazing sushi spot! The fish was incredibly fresh, and each roll was beautifully crafted with unique flavors. The staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-quality sushi in bay ridge. Their sashimi tuna pizza was amazing.
