Best Historic Restaurants in Watlington

Can't fault it. My first visit and it was great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was incredible and there was a lovely atmosphere. I will be coming back and recommending it to others.

First time experiencing the roast dinner and we were not disappointed. Normally have room for desert, but the amount of meat and trimmings (which can be topped up at ypur request) was amazing. Service from all staff fantastic and done with a smile and friendly demeanor. The Guinness is pretty decent too....all in all a great experience and worth the money

Fairly posh but down to earth pub in the nicest possible way. Brilliantly run, great decor and ambience, lovely food and a reasonable price. As good as it gets.

From the moment we opened the door on a dark, windy, and wet night, and saw the warm light streaming out, we knew we'd made a good choice! Friendly staff, good food, dog friendly, and an all-round welcoming atmosphere.
