- TTracieLondon •6 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWe really enjoyed our meal at the Chequers. The staff were really lovely. Cannot fault them in any way. The ambience was great. Busy but not loud. The food was, on the whole, really nice. The adults not wanting to eat too much were welcome to choose from the kids menu. The kids fish and chips were particularly good. The ciabatta with the prawns was a bit too toasted for my parents. They couldn’t cut it as it was too crispy. They wished they’d had the kids meals as they were amazing. Two out of the four burgers ordered were fantastic, the other two not quite so great. I would definitely visit again. Best place I’ve been to eat with the whole family in a long time. There were 10 of us so they did well to get all the food out at the same time! Thank you!More infoThe ChequersPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Hook•4.4
- WwendySurrey •3 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoVery nice atmosphere. Staff were helpful, checked about allergies before taking our order. Bread on Bruschetta was overly crunchy and very difficult to cut. Main course of crab ravioli was very nice but could have been hotter. Nice touch of my friend and I to receive a birthday dessert which was lovely. would definitely try the restaurant again.More infoPiccolino - Virginia WaterPrice: Expensive• Italian• Virginia Water•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinerLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Feb 2025We recently had the pleasure of dining at Linden Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we had a range of steaks, battered haddock and soup of the day, and it was simply all outstandingly—cooked to perfection with rich, well-balanced flavors. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming. To top it all off, the dessert was a masterpiece. The sticky toffee pudding and chocolate and salted caramel torte were the perfect ending to an already amazing meal, with just the right amount of sweetness. The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made fantastic recommendations. The staff’s passion for hospitality was evident in every interaction. Overall, Linden Restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The combination of outstanding food, top-notch service, and a welcoming ambiance makes this a must-visit dining destination. I can’t wait to return and try more from their incredible menu! Highly recommended!More infoLinden Restaurant at Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel & SpaPrice: Expensive• British• Camberley•3.9
