- PPeterSydney •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoGreat and very helpful staff, they sadly had to sit us on the bar, but it wasn't so bad. The drinks are heavily over priced and I would just recommend to not bother, go somewhere else for drinks in the area there are better places much cheaper to get a good cocktail. The Orange chicken was by far the best dish, which is a shame for a Bao Bun place when you think about it. The Bao Buns were ok...not great, like Ipuddo makes better ones if you really want to try some. The chicken was dry, the meat was stringy, the pork belly one i didn't even bother eating because it looked bland, and there was no real crackling on it. In the end I recommend you get their burgers and the Orange Chicken as they're far more enjoyable than the buns. Shame really. TL;DR - Drinks cost too much (common problem, not exclusive to this place) - Staff are amazing - The buns are average - Everything else on the menu is better than the buns (the irony) - Ambience is really nice too!More infoBelly BaoPrice: Moderate• Asian• Newtown•4.5

The service downstairs is always very friendly, and the food was , as always, excellent. - MMarcusvipSydney •2 reviews4.0Dined on 14 May 2019Good food in the British style. However, if you are used to British curry houses, you'd expect the usual 4 dips to come with the papadums. Here they only provide mint sauce. Great value if you have a Citi credit card as get a free bottle of wine.More infoThe Colonial British Indian Cuisine DarlinghurstPrice: Moderate• Indian• Darlinghurst•3.2
