With opulent interiors and a contemporary bar and eatery, we are proud to have become a hub for the local area. Join us for a great cup of coffee, a decent pint of beer, or a glass of chilled champagne.     As a local, I felt compelled to write a review. Quite possibly the best afternoon I have had in the pub. I normally visit once or twice a week. The new Manager is absolutely superb, service was excellent and the food was great. Happy party of 6 and as I live in the village, I was very pleased with the service and quality!!

    Food overall was good. The Welsh rarebit for starters was good as was the roast for mains, although it could have more gravy, which wasn’t a problem when we asked for more. Service and attention to detail could be better. They forgot two of our starters which they apologised and deducted our starters from the bill. Water carafe and wine was neglected, which should be automatically topped up. Plus I asked for the heating to be turned on otherwise we would’ve kept our coats on. If they can refine those small details, then it would deserve 5 stars.
