The food as usual was outstanding that is why we travel from Wheathampstead as of yet you have never failed, please repeat it every time we visit. Loved the new dishes such as spinach/cheese rolls and the staples of prawns and beer battered chicken. All cooked and served with love. Don’t just take my word for it pay Maria, Carlos and the crew a visit. It will whisk you away to sunny Spain at a fraction of the price.More infoEl Bar de TapasPrice: Moderate• Spanish• Stevenage•4.8
- WWendyVIPHertfordshire •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI took a friend with me who had never eaten at Lussmanns. To say she was delighted would be the understatement of the year! She chose the Smoked Haddock & free range poached egg and said it was quite the best she had ever tasted. She was equally pleased with her dessert, which was which was the Bramley apple crumble with Barnet ice cream, hazelnuts, and rosemary. I chose the chickpea and spice tomato hotpot and the sticky date and ginger pudding, whose sauce was exquisite. My friend is going to make sure her son takes her there as soon as possible.More infoLussmanns - HarpendenPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Harpenden•4.8
- SSamHertfordshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWent here for valentines night, 3 courses for £45 each which I thought was great value. Only feedback I would give is that it would have been nice to have a bit more time between courses but apart from that, service was great. Would definitely recommend.More infoPriory Restaurant at Hitchin Priory HotelPrice: Expensive• European• Hitchin•4.1
- MMarkHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a wonderful 3 course meal here. Food was great, the staff were polite and attentive. The restaurant was cosy and well laid out. Prices are quite high, but the quality of food and drink was great. I would have liked our main ( halibut) to have come with chips or boiled potatoes, but you have to order them separately. That is my only slight grumble on a very good evening out. Well worth a visit.More infoLussmanns - HitchinPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Hitchin•4.7
