She had no idea that I was going to do this and no idea what Lunar would be like. It turned out to be far more than we expected. The food and drink were exceptional, both in taste and presentation. The service was a refreshing return to the time when staff cared about who come in and how they were dealt with, from the moment we walked through the door to when we were given the guided tour afterwards. I booked this a month prior and i had requested a booth or good table but that request was completely ignored. Nevermind..once inside and seated the experience was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was perfect. They really made an effort for valentines. Roses at the door and special valentines cocktail menu. The cocktails looked and tasted great. original ideas and worth the money. Its high end, high-ish prices but we had a lovely evening and i will recommend it for special occasions. So much food for the price making it not feel overly expensive and really great tasting food. Highly recommend the truffle roast potatoes if you get the chance to have those. We chose the lobster and king prawns linguine, and were very pleasantly surprised to find a half lobster (not just pieces) perfectly cooked in a creamy white wine sauce. FANTASTIC. Thank you.
