“Good Food and Bad Advice.” Such is the motto for this one-of-a-kind restaurant that’s in the planning stages as we go to press. Located beside Hot Fish Club on the southern end of Murrells Inlet, it’s owned and operated by the HFC family – but it’s a totally different experience. The menu is quirky, to say the least, with a focus on affordability – most items run between $4 and $12 – and fresh, locally sourced meats, seafood and produce whenever possible. The team is still working out the particulars, but the choices are definitely different and change frequently to keep things interesting. Take time to explore and expect the unexpected from a restaurant where one of the items offered is described as “kinda weird, but tasty.” Lowcountry looks forward to this new venture from our friends at the Hot Fish Club. We went on a Sunday and, even though they had a Brunch Buffet we opted to order from the menu. The food was hot and fresh and delicious! The service was excellent. The server was kind and very enthusiastic. We were also greeted by management who came to make sure everything was to our liking. Overall great experience and I recommend this restaurant.

A solid go-to in Charleston. Whether you are entertaining out of town guests, there for a romantic evening, a special celebratory gathering or really just want a fantastic meal in a great atmosphere -- Church and Union is the place. The vibe captivates you before you even take a seat; the service is attentive without being overbearing, and everything on the menu is spectacular. (I've been there enough to know!) Everything about Church and Union will be a memorable experience that you absolutely shouldn't miss.....a feast for the eyes and the palate. Don't sit on this one -- just go.

They’re still working out “bugs” with Open Table as they’ve just started using it. However, the manager was extremely accommodating and even provided a complimentary tequila/pineapple shot at the end of our meal. Food was phenomenal. Staff is courteous and attentive. Prices are reasonable for quality of food. I highly recommend for a different experience and great food.
