Contrary to popular belief, JJ's Restaurant is not named for popular owner Jimmy Frantzé. In 1985, Jimmy purchased JJ Malane's from his former business partner and the saloon's namesake. Malane's went away, but JJ's remained, and a West Plaza fine dining icon was born. We have an incredible dinner experience at Gram & Dunn! The restaurant was beautiful and festive and the menu was fantastic. But the best part of our experience was most certainly our waitress Andrea. She was outstanding! Extremely knowledgeable, so fun and engaging, knew the food and drinks so well and guided us well when we asked for help. She was an absolute delight! If you go here you should ask for her!

Pierpont's has been a favorite restaurant of mine for years. I don't go as often as I would like, but when I do, the quality of the food and service are always consistent and exceptional. In addtion, it is located in Kansas City's iconic Union Station. It is a wonderful restaurant for special occasions, but fun just for a happy hour, too. If you have not tried Pierpont's at Union Station, don't wait, it is a wonderful dining experience.
