Best Brunch Restaurants in New Britain

We were a large group and when we originally arrived at the restaurant, they had set our table up in the bar area, which I had specifically requested not to do when I made the reservation. Even on a very busy night, the restaurant was quickly able to adjust and seat us in the dining area. The waitress was great, and the owner himself made a point of stopping by and speaking with us and even sent us a complementary order of nachos. Overall, the restaurant went out of their way to make this a great experience for everyone attending.

Artisan is a favorite for delicious and fresh vegetable-rich meals. We love the Chef's monthly themed dinners and the way the kitchen aims to accommodate dietary preferences. I ordered the catch of the day over the brussels/pistachio/pesto preparation and it was perfect. There is a trend to fry the brussels until they are unrecognizable and cover them in sauce, but Artisan maintains a delicate flavored vegetable that compliments the dish. The autumn salad with blueberries, pomegranate seeds and almonds was excellent also. The main dining room is a cheerful relaxing space and the staff is welcoming and helpful.

Our waiter Doug was excellent and attentive without being overly aggressive. He reached out with suggestions on the menu and we throughly enjoyed a relaxing lunch. We will return within a few months !!
