Intero, translating to “whole’’ in Italian, embraces this concept utilizing local ingredients from their entirety, paired with traditional Italian techniques and cooking sensibilities. This naturally sustainable approach allows for innovative, yet familiar dishes that highlight the seasonal availability of what’s grown and raised in Texas. Yay, trained and professional wait staff and servers! This makes a huge difference to a dining experience. The food was delicious and served in acceptable portions so that diners may partake of several courses without feeling too full, too empty, or wasteful. My standouts were the hamachi with a soy vinaigrette and duck poivrè. For my husband, it was the best lobster bisque that he can remember. It is a go-to for him. He’s partaken of it at many top notch restaurants around the country. He enjoyed the halibut and creamed spinach. I had intended to have steak but the steak portions were just too large for me. The smallest was a 6 or 8 oz filet. Maybe I could have handled one though because my duck breast must have been very close in size and I left none. Oh, my husband loved the popover at the start of the meal. I’ve had better but again, I left none. Maybe it was the delicious rosemary honey butter? Plan on $125 per person minimum for a complete dining experience, sans alcohol. Valet parking.

Great experience from start to finish! When I made the reservation, only outdoor tables were available so I left a comment requesting to be moved inside if anything opened up - and immediately on checking in, the hostess offered a table inside. The decor is classic and welcoming. Drinks were brought almost immediately after ordering them. Enough staff that someone was always attending to us. Food was delicious, especially the cacio e pepe. Highly recommend

We always love coming to the Salty Sow. We love the vibe and the eclectic menu as well as the awesome drinks! Jordan our server was great. Can’t go wrong with the deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts and duck fat fries for some shared appetizers! Rounded off with the filet, pork belly and beef shoulder. They have a great happy hour! Highly recommend

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and from the get go felt like we were taken care of. The hosts seemed sincere and cheerful wishing her a happy birthday, and that set the tone for the night feeling special. I’ve worked in service, and I know it’s not always easy to be festive on someone else’s behalf when tons of birthdays are celebrated every day, and the kindness of the staff stood out. Sandra took wonderful care of us, comped a dessert for the birthday and made sure we had everything we needed while giving us our time and space to enjoy the meal. We will be back!

We recently enjoyed a nice brunch at Poeta, sitting outside on the back veranda. We had the gorgonzola antipasti served with crudites and grilled bread. I asked for the vegetables and my request was received warmly. We then decided to share the Chicken Milanese served with grilled endive and a delightful lemon sauce underneath. The service was excellent and our waiter recommended a nearby vintage bookshop. We highly recommend Poeta and plan to visit again for the evening menu.
