Long thought to be the building where our entries namesake was held as a prisoner before being hung in Cornmaket, The Jailhouse as it is now known has been frozen in time for the last 70 years nearly forgotten about completely. Restored as part of the Joys Entry project, the aim was to keep as much of the original character of the building as possible. As usual, great service, great food (pork belly a must taste) we had 7 X starters & 1 x desert between 2 adults & 1 child with 9 x drinks inc 1 x cocktail, 2 gin & mixer, Calypso Coffee, 2 x cokes & 2 big bottles cider & all were great at reasonable priced (£100 all in) & after my daughter left behind a shopping bag, I contacted CCC’s & they kindly advised they have it & I can collect o next week, thanks a million guys, my daughters special treat after her transfer test was evnjoyable, we’ll be back for Christmas menu that we were advised is available from 25/11/24👍👏👏👏
