Easily one of the best dining experiences if not the best in the city. The quality of the food, service and drinks are all on a different level to dining rooms with treble the pricing structure. Our first time at The Hawthorn. Was a lovely restaurant. Greeted by very helpful polite staff. Very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Efficient and professional. Pleasant and polite. I had the flat iron Steak with peppercorn sauce and crispy skin on fries. Absolutely delicious. Couldn’t find fault. Service was very prompt. The fries were the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband had the Burger with fries and he really enjoyed it too. Plenty of choices from the wine and beverage section. Prosecco was very nice as was the Ilkley beer. We didn’t have room for desert. Again nice choices from a traditional menu. Very nice indeed and we will definitely be returning.

Another visit to this fantastic restaurant. It was for my sisters birthday. Four of us dined at lunchtime and the food was outstanding 👌 Well done Chef Doug and his amazing team 👏 Great to see a helicopter landing and the occupants popping in for lunch.

I went to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. Lovely food and surroundings. Our waitress Michaela couldn’t do enough for our table. She was friendly and helpful and even took time out to organise a beautiful little birthday cake. Thank you Michaela you made my birthday extra special. I will definitely be visiting again

Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%
