Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Pawtucket

We have been here several times and have always had a great experience. Reservations are a must on weekends. The bar is always crowded and energetic. Menu is big . Portions are fairly large and if you are a moderate eater you will have take homes for sure. Food is exceptional and varies from traditional Italian based menu? They always have specials . Our group of 4 had a hard time deciding because there were so many great menu options. Appetizers, bread, main course, and desserts were very good. This is a must try restaurant but because it tends to be crowded on Weekends be prepared for a busy and a little noisy atmosphere. The staff is very personable and attentive.

I visited on Valentine’s Day and loved the cozy ambiance with beautiful plant decorations. I ordered the 3 Valentine’s specials: the beet gnocchi, beet burrata, and cod dish, along with the cooked oysters. All were delicious though I was a bit disappointed with the beet burrata, as it had a very tiny amount of cubed beets and at first believed they forgot the beets on the dish. For dessert I had the tiramisu which was fantastic!

99% of everything was great. We stopped into doorway about 10 min before our reservation and could hear the host saying we better not f-ing come in before 4. Which we only did to double check our reservation time because it was so cold out and the sign on the door said open at 4:30 so I panicked. I was in the restaurant industry for over a decade so I get it, but FYI your door is not sound proof. So maybe just say it to yourself.

Had a great meal here! Smelled delicious the moment we stepped in the door. We shared the Invernale salad (greens and beets! mmm!). We both had the Pork Roast meal and it was awesome! Tender, tasty pork and creamy polenta with Swiss Chard for the greens. Friendly waitstaff and a nice environment overall. Short walk to PPAC for a show after dinner.

Visited on a Monday night and it was a terrific evening! The entire staff was great from the wait staff to the servers to the complimentary valet which is a bonus on Federal Hill. We opted for Massimo's Monday Night Wine + Dine set price menu because they included terrific gluten free Italian options - to include GF bread. We shared the Baby Spinach, Caramelized Onion, Gorgonzola, Candied Walnuts, Pancetta, Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad, Calamari Fritti, Shrimp Scampi and Gnocchi margherita - all cooked beautifully. We parted ways on dessert so there was Tiramisu, Cannoli, and we even added a Cheesecake with Cherries. Needless to say, we are not afraid of a great meal! We will be back! Thank you!
