It's here we make all our seasonal ferments, pickles and drinks - all of which you can buy ready jarred from our fridge. Our large kitchen counter is the centrepiece, and you’re invited to grab a seat, order something to eat and enjoy the workings of life in our kitchen. Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

    Me & my wife went which we do at least once a month unfortunately my wife didn’t feel too good & we had to leave before our roast was served! But staff kindly packed it all up to takeaway which we had later that evening & was amazing thank you so much xx

    I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff and manager at the Canary Wharf branch - I had the most fabulous meal with my autistic daughter and the rest of my family. We were offered a choice of tables, seen to quickly, given paper and crayons and looked after so well. The food was outstanding and we had the best time.

    My waitress was very lovely. I wish I could put her name here, but I forgot to ask for her name, but we were late to our booking for the restaurant that other people booked the same table as us so instead of them kicking us out  she put us in the lounge so you could have more time and celebrate my birthday the way I wanted it so I rate it a five star love it,really enjoyed my birthday. thank you
