Best Vegan Restaurants in Harlesden

Visiting London and we knew we had to come back here (visited for the first time back in 2022). It took forever for a true, authentic Mexican restaurant to appear in London, but this is it! (We’re from Tucson, Arizona. Trust us, we know.) Everything we’ve had here tastes just as good as if we had it at home. This time we started with a couple of margaritas and some nachos, and then had the shared taco platter as the main course. Delicious! All of the meats are prepared authentically with the right seasonings and spices. So nice to get a small taste of home while abroad! Beyond the food, the decor and ambience is great, it’s very lively, though not so loud that you can’t have a conversation, and the place is always packed with people enjoying their meals. We highly recommend Mestizo - but make sure you make a reservation!

A perfect place, very cosy, child-friendly (we had a nice surprise getting a free pizza for the child), with delicious vegan pizza and gender-neutral toilets.

Freshly prepared vegetables – truly fresh (not pre-prepared in a central kitchen) – and beautifully assembled. Innovative, delicate and fresh.

Food was absolutely delicious and the serving team were lovely. Can’t recommend this place more - thank you!

Had a lovely meal for my wife’s birthday who is vegetarian but I’m not. However I can say that the food was delicious. It was tasty and flavoursome and we’d definitely visit again.
