Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Croydon

I’ve eaten here on a few occasions now and each time it has been a delightful experience, not to mention the food they serve is picture perfect and delicious! This time I brought a few of my friends as part of a jolly, the ambiance was perfect, the Christmas decor was out in full glory and the once again the food was exceptional, in particular the braised Herefordshire beef orgasmic! Clos Maggiore was brimming with customers, so much so we had to wait a little for our table. However by way of compensation we were treated to a really delicious glass of Prosecco which successfully sweetened the deal. My only niggle was that the sommelier was a little busy which meant the experience of timing the wine to the plate wasn’t spot on but in fairness the restaurant was packed! So overall we all had a really lovely time!

I had an incredible experience at Daphne’s . The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, and the staff were warm and attentive from the start. I couldn’t get enough of the tiger prawns—it was absolutely delicious. The conservatory seating was such a lovely touch, adding a relaxed but refined vibe to the evening. I’ll definitely be going back—it’s a fantastic spot for a special night out.

We had an amazing afternoon tea at the Parlour, and opted for the unlimited Veuve Clicquot. The food was delicious, the ambiance was spectacular, and the staff could not have been more fabulous, especially Avalyn.

Great meal at The Builder's Arms - great atmosphere and steak was delicious!
