The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.     We went to Valentina's before Christmas with my partner, his Dad & Grandma for lunch. We had a really lovely time & enjoyed our afternoon together supporting a new local business! As locals, we came across the 50% off food in February deal & wanted to come to Valentina's again. We were excited to come back to Valentina's, especially after having such an enjoyable first experience. However, there was a little mix up with our food ticket not being sent to the kitchen. We realised this after my partner went & spoke to one of the staff (after we had been waiting for 30 minutes) - we'd been chit chatting away! The wait staff very kindly & quickly rectified the issue & our starter arrived very shortly after. However, the food felt as though it had been rushed & was slightly undercooked. Nonetheless, was still enjoyable. The main courses were much better & the desserts were delicious. Even though we had the situation with the ticket & delay, we still thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Valentina's in East Sheen & will most likely be back to continue supporting a local business.
